Hey, Alesia here!

About me alesia galati

Yup, this is me.

Well, a lottle (a little and a lot) about me. I’m a full-time working mom. I am mother to a two-year-old rambunctious son and unborn baby #2 (another boy! Yay!)

I feel very strongly about woman being defined by more than their motherhood. I also believe that it is possible for moms to have some form of sanity. Even a little bit of sanity.

I currently work for an international specialty gas company, but I don’t want to work for a big company my entire life. My goal is to finish getting my dual B.A. in Business Management and Marketing and take that career wherever it leads me.

I was born in Syracuse, NY and moved to New Jersey when I was 11. We lived in Western Jersey near the Pennsylvania border until recently when we moved our growing family to North Carolina.

When I’m not working or chasing Jude around, I can be found doing homework or snuggling with my husband, Chris.

My favorite guys in the world.

I’ve always had a knack for writing. I’ve written stories and poems since elementary school. I write simply for the joy of writing. And honestly, if no one reads my blog, I’m OK with that. This is for me (and you—if you stick around).

This blog is my thinking space as well as a place for moms to find their own glass of sanity. If I write a review or talk about anything, you can expect 100% honesty from me. I will never lie about what I truly think or feel about a product or service.

My posts will cover a range of topics from mental wellness, stress relief, quick meals, relationship advice, and parenting awesomeness (or fails).

4 Things You Should Know About Me

  1. I’m an introvert with extrovert strengths (super weird but yeah).
  2. I love ice cream. Any Fudge Ripple fans out there?
  3. My showers are as hot as the Fires of Mordor (if you don’t understand that reference then we might not be able to be friends).
  4. My favorite movie of all time is A Little Princess (not the Shirley Temple version). My favorite book is Wuthering Heights. Dark, I know; but an absolutely brilliant book.

So all of this is me! Grab your favorite drink (if that’s wine, then we are on the same page!) and enjoy!
